Outside of my studio in Arnold at the weekend is great for an urban style photo session. It’s great to use the building as a backdrop for photos and one I’ve used quite a few times now, although this can only be done at certain times due to the car park getting very busy during the week.
These photos are of my son but this time we have a special guest appearance on some of the photos – my parent’s little dog!
Our dog usually snubs photos completely and when you point a camera at him, he will literally turn his nose up and turn away in completely the opposite direction.
So to actually get a photo of him looking at the camera is always challenging especially when you’re trying to team it with a photo including your child. But I like a challenge and it’s always good fun!
My son and him seem to have a special bond and what makes it even more special is that my son won’t go near any other dogs…at all.
After we had taken a few photos of them both together, I managed to squeeze in a few more of my son on his own (I’m forever updating my collection of photos of him!).
