So it’s Valentine Day’s Day and, although there are no signs of flowers or the colour red in these photos, these photos are of someone very special to me, my boy!
I’m extremely proud of him and love him to bits – my little star who is growing up so very fast.
There’s usually a trigger point which will cause a photo session with my son -which can be anything from seasonal backdrops to family birthday gifts (any excuse basically!). This one, however, was a new hair cut and styling (thank you Brik barbers – over to the side instead of spiked up!).
I do find it amazing how quickly children change and although I photograph my son regularly, I always get a buzz and never tire of taking his photo or looking through “old” photos of him.
These photos were taken in my studio in Nottingham as it worked for the look I wanted to achieve. I think we’ll be due for an lifestyle session next time; something I’m already planning behind the scenes!
